Fat Cat Update: War Profiteering
Cheney's former company, Halliburton, announced on Friday a 284 percent increase in operating profits during the second quarter of this year, all from no-bid Pentagon contracts.
While the war in Iraq is costing taxpayers upwards of $700 billion, it's good to know that Cheney and his fat cat pals are profiting from the war. Sickening.
