Last Throes Update
It's been months now since Cheney declared the insurgency in Iraq is in its "last throes." Today, 14 marines were killed in a bombing, bringing the total of US soldier deaths over the last 3 days to 21.
But, as conservatives always whine, what about the "good" news in Iraq? I'll bet, along with these 14 marines losing their life, somewhere in Iraq a school was painted today!!! Conservatives should be consoled by the fact that not even the bad news in Iraq is being covered. I've barely seen a mention of today's mass casualties on CNN's morning coverage.
UPDATE: In the face of one of the deadliest and most violent weeks in Iraq, Bush responds by starting his FIVE WEEK long vacation.
