Draining the GOP Swamp
Well, it only took 6 years, but the American voters finally woke up. I wonder what issue finally drove voters to the edge. Was it
the Abramoff scandal?
the Foley scandal?
the Haggard scandal?
the suspension of habeas corpus?
the suspension of the Geneva Conventions and creation of secret torture sites?
the incompetent response to Katrina?
a war killing thousands of US troops and hundreds of thousands of Iraqis?
the increase in terrorism, according to the NIE?
the no-bid contracts to Cheney's company, Halliburton?
the big tax give-aways to the richest of the rich?
the industry-friendly suspension of environmental regulations?
the secret meetings of Cheney with big oil companies to determine energy policy?
the convoluted Medicare drug plan and give-away to Big Pharma?

In the first 100 hours:
We will start by cleaning up Congress, breaking the link between lobbyists and legislation and commit to pay-as-you-go, no new deficit spending.
